Quality Manager oversees quality control, ensuring all products meet standards and specifications. Will develop quality inspection guidelines, conduct audits, and train staff on procedures, focusing on precision and accuracy of machined components. Responsibilities also include implementing quality control processes, analyzing data, and collaborating with other teams to improve quality and efficiency. Will supervise and manage a team of inspectors.
- Upgrade and maintain electronic quality system (QMS) including inspection documentation process, product non-conformances, RMA and ECN systems
- Handling Calibration and overseeing Gage Insite software and monitoring processes performed by external calibration lab
- Write Quality Work Instructions for production staff
- Serve as ISO Representative including writing new procedures, forms, monitoring KPI’s, issuing CAPA’s and scheduling internal and 3rd Party Registrar Audits for conformance to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard
- Performing Contract Review and communicating with customers on any issues and requirements;
- Monitor external supplier performances.
- Conduct regular inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Train and supervise quality inspectors and other staff on quality procedures, inspection techniques, and quality control systems.
